SDC Construction
Incorporated as a limited company in 2002, SDC Construction Ltd. is another 100% owned subsidiary of SDC which provides local employment opportunities within the village. The construction company initially started as a mine site service provider of heavy equipment operators, hotshot services, construction labour supply, and road building and airport maintenance. It then transitioned into providing services within the community, receiving contracts from SK Highways to rebuild and pave the access road into Ile a la Crosse and paving the streets throughout the village.

About SDC Construction
- In 2013 the company completed a roofing contract for the Ile-a-la-Crosse School Division of 22 units.
- In 2014 we built 4 rental housing units for Northern Medical Services to support more housing for resident doctors.
- In 2016, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation Rental Development Program we built 10 homes to provide housing units for working class families and fill the needs of the community.
