The Sakitawak Development Corporation is pleased to announce five scholarships to students of Ile-a-la Crosse pursuing post-secondary education.

John Daigneault was a man dedicated to the youth of the community and served on the School Board for many years. He stressed the importance of education; SDC is committed to providing a scholarship fund in his honour. At the time of his passing, he was on the Board of Directors for the Sakitawak Development Corporation and Council Member for the Northern Village of Ile-a- la Crosse.

Eligibility

  • Permanent resident of Ile-a-la Crosse;
  • Admitted into a post secondary institution or university;
  • Can be continuing studies at a post-secondary institution;
  • Preference will be given to students working on their first certificate or degree. Deadline to Apply:
    • Friday January 27, 2023 @ 5pm.
